Amber Heard. biography
Amber Laura Heard was born on April 22, 1986, in Austin, Texas and started her career in modeling after dropping out of high school at the age of 17. Although she was able to land multiple modeling gigs, Amber decided to move to Los Angeles and pursue a career in acting fulltime. Soon after arriving in Hollywood, Amber made her film debut in the sports drama Friday Night Lights (2004) prior to gaining attention for her memorable performances in the award-winning drama North Country (2005) and the biopic Alpha Dog (2006).
In 2008, Amber appeared alongside Seth Rogen in the hilarious comedy Pineapple Express and Billy Bob Thornton in the thriller The Informers. A year later, the young actress starred in the dramedy The Joneses (2009) with Demi Moore as well as the horror comedy Zombieland (2009) alongside Jesse Eisenberg. She then assumed the role of Piper opposite Nicholas Cage in Drive Angry (2011) and later landed a lead role in the short-lived TV series The Playboy Club (2011) before joining forces with Johnny Depp in The Rum Diary (2011).
Amber’s most recent projects include, the dramedy Syrup (2013) with Brittany Snow and Kellan Lutz, the drama thriller Paranoia (2013) alongside Harrison Ford and Liam Hemsworth, Robert Rodriquez’s action flick Machete Kills (2013), the drama thriller Three Days to Kill (2013) with Kevin Costner, the thriller Autobahn (2014) alongside Zac Efron, and the action comedy Cali (unknown release date).

Rumors that Amber was dating Johnny Depp began circulating around the time he ended his 14-year relationship with Vanessa Paradis in the summer of 2012. The two first met on the set of The Rum Diary in 2011, but never confronted the dating gossip. But the rumors have since reignited after pictures of Depp and Heard holding hands at a Rolling Stone concert in late April 2013 made headlines.
