Shots fired when Twitter provocateur Amanda Bynes went full-blown Regina George on Miley Cyrus and called her “ugly.”
Miley, who intentionally hasn’t responded to Amanda’s madness via social media, did however go old school on us to explain her silence on the radio today.
“I won’t even entertain that thought,” Miley said to jockeys on Hot 99.5’s The Kane Show, adding, “I think it’s all so sad that I don’t want to add any fuel to that fire.”
“It’s really so sad to me, you know, I was rooting for her comeback until [she] started attacking me,” she said.
Miley, however, hasn’t let Amanda get to her. She’s found a way to laugh in the face of Amanda’s negativity, chalking it up as nothing more than an unfortunate consequence of just another hater wanting to ride the coattails of her success and fame.
“I just thought it was hilarious that she mentioned my name the moment I was the world wide trending topic on Twitter,” Miley scoffed, “because the moment, you know, you’re a trending topic it’s funny how many people want your name to come out of their mouth ‘cause somehow they can associate and maybe they can be a trending topic.”
