Doug Reinhardt is single again. He just can’t seem to hold onto a girlfriend!
LC dumped him quickly after meeting him, and then he moved on to
Holly Montag for a bit, and she even got sick of him.
Doug tried to briefly date outside of The Hills cast, which we’ve now learned has been unsuccessful. He and
Amanda Bynes had been spotted canoodling around town for the past two weeks, but we sadly have to report today that she’s dumped him. Tear.
According to Us Weekly, Amanda initiated the break-up. We think it may have come as a little bit of a shock to Dougy, because just last week he was quoted as saying things like this: "Amanda's great - she's an awesome girl. We're having a lot of fun.” And this: "Everything is really good," he went on.
"We were just in the Bahamas, and we spent Christmas together ... everything's really solid."
Not so much. News of the break-up surfaced today. A source close to Amanda told the magazine, "She ended it. She had had enough. Her friends didn't trust him. Everyone thought he was using her for celebrity. He was not good, and she was over it. It was definitely her who ended it."
Poor Doug. At least he has his amazing Hollywood Hills pad to cuddle up in with a tub of Ben & Jerrys. We smell a Doug-inspired dating reality show in his near future.
