The once clean-cut actress has been a regular on the Hollywood party scene recently, according to TMZ.com. This probably comes as a surprise to her dad, who claims: “My daughter doesn’t drink.”

After Amanda’s bloated mug shot was released last week, it harkened back to Lindsay Lohan 2007. And indeed, these two have a plenty in common, aside from that mug shot.
Like Lindsay, Amanda got her start in Hollywood at a young age. At the age of seven, she appeared in a television ad for Buncha Crunch candies.
Multiple sources confirm that Bynes and some pals tried to get into the hotel bar at The Standard Hotel on Sunset Blvd. Friday night—the day she was arrested—but the doorman refused to let her inside.
According to TMZ, staff members knew Bynes was at the nightclub drinking the night before, when she was arrested in the wee hours of Friday morning for driving under the influence. Oh, and she also hit a cop car.

Amanda was busted after she side-swiped a police car. Yes, that happened. She was put in jail overnight but released this morning. Still wearing her clothes from the night before, Bynes was donning some dark shades and pink hair.

She definitely hasn't been acting because she has not starred in a film since 2007.
Amanda must have realized that her career wasn't going anywhere so she has decided to quit acting at age 24.
"Being an actress isn't as fun as it may seem," she wrote on her Twitter page. "If I don't love something anymore, I stop doing it. I don't love acting anymore, so I've stopped doing it."
"I know 24 is a young age to retire but you heard it here first I've #retired," she added.
It's a shame that her career never went anywhere. She was a great actress.
