Alyssa Milano. biography
Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19, 1972, in Brooklyn, New York and made her acting debut in the independent film Old Enough (1984) at the age of ten followed closely by her first substantial, reoccurring role in the TV series Who’s the Boss (1984-92). Now seen as a child star two years later, Milano garnished additional attention when she starred alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in the R-rated action-packed flick Commando (1985).
Milano began transforming into a teen idol when she starred in teen-based films like Dance ‘til Dawn (1988) and Crash Course (1988), but later broke away from the image in the early ‘90s, starring in films that catered to adults, including Embrace of the Vampire (1994), Deadly Sins (1995) and Fear (1996) alongside Mark Wahlberg and Reese Witherspoon.
The rising star then returned to her TV roots in Melrose Place (1997-98) and Spin City (1997-2001) prior to getting her big break as Phoebe Halliwell in Charmed (1998-2006).
In 2010, Milano starred in the romantic comedy My Girlfriend’s Boyfriend as well as the TV series Romantically Challenged until it came to an end in 2011. That same year, she starred alongside Owen Wilson in the comedy Hall Pass in addition to the star-studded romantic comedy New Year’s Eve.
Milano’s most recent work includes the TV series Mistresses (2013).
Alyssa Milano Husband, Boyfriend & Dating History Timeline
1987 – 1990
Milano and fellow-child actor Corey Haim started dating while they were building their careers and carried on a three-year, on-and-off relationship.
1993 - 1994
Around the time Who’s the Boss was coming to an end and Milano’s future career was unknown, she picked up fellow-actor Scott Wolf to keep her company. They went on to get engaged in 1993, but parted ways soon after.
In a 2001 interview, Milano revealed, “I was 20. We got engaged. I was a child whose parents have been together since they were 15, so I thought that was what you’re supposed to do. I didn’t date – I got engaged.”
1999 – 2000
Milano didn’t seem to learn from her quick engagement to Scott Wolf, because she married Remy Zero band member Cinjun Tate in 1999 before splitting ways a year later.
Milano later said, "I guess I didn't think it through properly—it should have grown into a friendship and remained that, period. I learned so much from him about love and about myself. Just because it ended doesn't mean that it wasn't beautiful.”
2000 – 2002
Milano dated her Charmed co-star Brian Krause throughout the show’s third and fourth season, before moving on.
2002 – 2002
According to rumors, Milano dated Justin Timberlake for a short time in 2002, but unfortunately for her, it didn’t work out.
August 2007 – Present
After exactly a year of dating, Milano and CAA agent David Bugliari got engaged in 2008. They went on to tie the knot on August 15, 2009, at his family’s home in New Jersey.
On August 31, 2011, the couple welcomed their son Milo Thomas Bugliari.
