Directed by Alejandro Gomez Monteverde, the movie stars Mexican actor Eduardo Verastegui, Ali Landry and Tammy Blanchard. The plot entails an international soccer star who is on his way to sign a multi-million dollar contract when a series of events unfold that bring his career to an abrupt end. While a beautiful waitress, struggles to make it in New York City, discovers something about herself that she's unprepared for. In one irreversible moment, their lives are turned upside down...until a simple gesture of kindness brings them both together, turning an ordinary day into an unforgettable experience.

This inspiring movie also shadows the film's star Eduardo Verastegui’s personal life. The Latin sensation who gave up being the Latin poster child to follow his passion.

This film is Verastegui's passion project. He wanted to create projects which didn’t stereotype him as the typical Latin Lover. He has passed on roles that offered millions of dollars and nearly lost his home to foreclosure in order to create his own production company and projects like 'Bella' that reflected his values.
