HOLLYSCOOP EXCLUSIVE
Ali Fedotowsky is no stranger to finding love in front of millions of people but this reality star says she’s done with TV love, for now.

“I think my days of finding love on reality TV are probably over,” Ali told Hollyscoop at the US Hot Hollywood event.

After ending her engagement last year to Roberto Martinez who she met on season six of “The Bachelorette,” Ali is coming back to network television on NBC’s travel show “1st Look.”
The Bachelorette star, Ali Fedotowsky, has called it quits with her fiancé, Roberto Martinez. Why didn't it work out? Because she starred on The Bachelorette, that's why. If you want to meet someone that you'll waste a few years of your life with before deciding to end things, star in The Bachelor or The Bachelorette.

A rep for the couple told Us Weekly: "Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez have ended their relationship. As they go through this difficult time, we ask that you respect the couple’s privacy."

I wonder who gets custody of the rep.

Fedotowsky, who was probably in a hurry to change her name, because this is only the third time I've typed it, and it's already driving me nuts, had postponed the wedding earlier this year.

Ever since Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky and her fiancé Roberto got engaged, the world has been wondering when they’re going to tie the knot!

Hollyscoop chatted with the cute couple at the KIIS-FM Jingle Ball and they gave us major wedding and baby scoop!

Ali admitted things have been “crazy” since the televised engagement. “Busy, but fun,” butted in Roberto. “We’re having a good time.”

So is the love still there even though the cameras are gone? According to Roberto, yes! “The chemistry is just there,” he said smiling at Ali. “I think we just try to do as many things as we can together, value the time we’re together.”

“We also realize when we need to spend time apart,” add Ali jokingly.

“We made a commitment to each other, and we choose to love each other and to be together.”

So as for the new year, Roberto is making his woman his New Year’s resolution! He told us, “The number one thing is keeping this going strong,” referring to his relationship.

We asked if that meant a wedding was in the near future, and Ali answered for him, “I would be surprised if we didn’t get married in 2011.”

As for babies, that’s where they put on the brakes! But Ali did admit to having baby fever….when it comes to a Pomeranian puppy she has her eye on!

“I have motherhood on my mind this month, because I’m looking to get a little Pomerianian puppy.”

One thing’s for sure, Ali is sure she won’t be a bridezilla. “I’m gonna be like, ‘What’s going on, let’s walk down the aisle and do this.’”

She says that now! I kid, Ali probably couldn’t be bridezilla-ish if she tried! Check out our EXCLUSIVE coverage with the couple below!

Hollywood is still reeling over the news of Eva Longoria and Tony Parker. Hollyscoop talked to a bunch of celebs at the “Us Weekly” party and they told us what they think of the split.

This was probably the last thing Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky and her fiancé wanted to talk about, seeing as though this is supposed to be the happiest time of their lives. “I don’t think we’re in any position to give them advice,” Ali told us.

Her words of wisdom for Eva? “Keep your head up. There is light at the end of the road. Everything happens for a reason. Just have faith and be strong. She’ll get through it.”

We hope Ali and Roberto don’t end up in the same boat—The Bachelor/Bachelorette engagements aren’t usually long-lasting!

Kimora Lee Simmons, who’s been through a divorce herself from Russell Simmons, said she wasn’t shocked at all by the news of Eva divorcing. “Nothing surprises me,” she said. “Who was surprised.”

She offered advice based on her own experience, saying, “I went through that too and I’m very happy and very much in love. You just have to find the best fit for yourself. I wouldn’t knock it, I’ve been there before, it’s easy to point the finger. Do the best you can.”

Whitney Port thinks Eva just needs to be with her friends right now. “Just to surround herself with people that truly love her that she can draw strength from,” she said.

Amber Stevens thinks the best way to deal with a break-up is to stay positive. She said, “I sympathize and I’m sorry for anyone that goes through a break up and I hope they just stay focused on their careers and don’t give up on love.”

Aubrey O'Day told us it may seem bad right now, but it’s for the best in the long run. “I think its always messy to advise people on their relationships,” she said.

“I think those things work themselves out and if they don’t, I think whatever ends up happening is usually for the best.”

Kimora’s reaction about not being surprised may seem harsh, but it is true. It really seems more and more that Hollywood relationships just don’t work out.

Why do you think that is? Tell us in the comments!

Is there trouble in paradise for bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky and her fiancé Roberto Martinez?

The two have reportedly decided to put their wedding plans on hold—which is a far cry from what they had initially planned following their televised engagement.

Ali told People they’re no longer in a hurry to get married.

"We're waiting a little bit," she said. “We really want to make sure we're doing this right."

But Fedotowsky insists nothing has changed in their relationship. "Nothing has changed – we're still just as happy as we were," she said. "When we were finished [with the show], we were so excited. We were like, 'Oh, we're going to get married right away.'

“But if you're rushing because you're in love, why rush? [Just] wait. You're going to get married any way. We're both sort of enjoying life."

Ali says they’re planning on having their eventual nuptials "somewhere on the California coast."

"We don't want to have to travel to our own wedding," she says. "We were thinking that maybe we'll want to get married, then go home for a couple days, relax and then go on our honeymoon. We just came off like a three-month-long honeymoon on The Bachelorette. We were just in Tahiti! We're tired of traveling like that."

Wow, must be nice! They should cash in and let ABC pay for their wedding while they’re still relevant!

It’s become the norm for the Bachelor and Bachelorettes and their other halves to stay in Los Angeles after filming is over.

Nowadays, starring on the show usually comes with a TV contract of some sort.

And Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez are no different.

The newly engaged couple stepped out last night in Hollywood at the Power Balance event and told Hollyscoop of their wedding plans, and the next steps they’re taking together.

“Maybe next summer,” Ali told us EXCLUSIVELY. “That would be exciting, we have so much to do and figure out.”

Ali told us Roberto is planning on opening up an insurance agency in San Diego, where they’re planning on moving to soon. “That is going to take a lot of time, dedication and effort. We have a lot going on,” Ali said.

But Ali told us San Diego is “perfect” for the two of them, and her fiancé agreed. “Just outside of LA,” Roberto explained. “I think she will be able to do her own thing and ill be able to open my office. I think it will work out pretty good.

Ali added, “We wanted to be somewhat near LA I guess, we know we will be up here a lot but wanted to be removed so we can have our private life and keep our home life separate from everything here. We are really happy we chose that, it’s going to be good; we are excited.”

Ali and Roberto must just be excited to settle down in one place after all the traveling they did on The Bachelorette. But we had to ask where they’re thinking for their upcoming honeymoon! “Thailand,” Ali said. “I think Thailand will be really great.”

As for the show, Ali said she knew a long time ago that she had serious feelings for Roberto. She said, “It was hard…really hard. I wanted to make sure I was making the best choice for me in the end. It was difficult to sort of go on a date with one guy and then another and sometimes I just wanted to see him. In the end what I got out of it makes it all worth-wild and I’d do it again for him.”

But one thing is for sure, she’s seen enough roses in her lifetime! “I think I’m done with roses!” Ali joked, adding to Roberto, “Except if you want to buy me some.”

They seem perfectly cute and happy together to us! But there’s still that thought in the backs of our minds that says….can this really work???

Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky may have been crying tears of joy on last night’s finale, but she’s had a rough time since the taping has ended.

As with every season, the couple at the end of the show has to sign confidentiality agreements that they won’t give up any information about who won. So she had to keep her engagement to Roberto Martinez a secret for a couple months.

She recalled one time she and Roberto tried to go away to Palm Springs. She told Access Hollywood, “We had a weekend in Palm Springs together and I actually got followed by the paparazzi, two hours out there from LA. I went to the police station and asked them to help me and they wouldn’t help me. They’re like, ‘It’s the paparazzi, there’s nothing we can do. It’s a free country.’”

Ali continued about another experience, saying, “I was going to visit him and I was being followed by like, eight cars and I pulled over to the side of the road and I started crying and I called him.”

“It’s so hard not to be there for those moments,” Roberto added.

But now the hard part is over, and the two love birds are already thinking about their upcoming nuptials—and they are completely opposed to their wedding being televised.

“We’ve talked about that,” Ali confirmed. “At first we were like, ‘No!’ And then we thought about [it]. A wedding’s expensive and if ABC would sort of take care of us we could take that money and invest it in our children and our home and things that are going to affect our every day life… Why invest that in one day when we can invest that in our lives.”

Roberto added, “I agree with her. If we can [save that] money or put it into or house or something else, I think that’s a smart call,” he said. “Plus, I’ve got a big family [and that gets] expensive.”

Of course they’re going to want it televised because it’s paid for! Do you think Ali and Roberto will even make it that far? Or are they just another Jake and Vienna in the making.
