In the midst of all the Alec-Baldwin-Has-A-Stalker drama, Alec may have dropped a hint that he’s leaving his NBC sitcom “30 Rock” soon.
Quick back-story – Alec Baldwin has a stalker that may or may not actually be a stalker but rather is just some woman that he doesn’t want to talk to anymore. Anyways, a pack of news crews descended upon Baldwin’s apt this week to report on the “stalking” story. This upset Baldwin, forcing him to vent his frustrations on twitter. #AmericanAirlines
“Outside my apt today, alongside the other stalkers from the tabloid press, a crew identified themselves as being with the Today Show [NBC morning show],” Baldwin writes, “The television crew camped outside my apt said they were with the Today Show.
#howthemightyhavefallen. I haven’t appeared on the Today Show in many years. But did they have to camp outside my apt?”
Ok so that happened, but then he tweets this, which makes up believe he’s quitting 30 Rock soon.
“A story about stalking sure brings out the stalkers in the media. But, the Today Show? No one from NBC contacted me until the Today Show arrived at my apt. I think I’m leaving NBC just in time.”
What can that mean!? If he’s leaving NBC “just in time” that can only mean he’s quitting 30 Rock soon!? Unless he was tweeting those thoughts while walking through the hallways of NBC and when he said “leaving NBC” he just meant, “walking outside.”
Back in January, Tina Fey confirmed that IF 30 Rock returned for a 7th season, that Alec would be back. She told Letterman, “If there is a seventh season and NBC is still a thing, then we’ll all be back.”
Well, it doesn’t seem like that may be so anymore.
