How Alec Baldwin Lost 30 Pounds In 4 Months
My bet is skipping dinner to play Words With Friends. That man has a serious addiction, and I can sympathize. I wonder if Promises has a Zynga game program.

Alec Baldwin was diagnosed with diabetes in May of last year, so he was forced to make some changes in his diet.

“I gave up sugar,” Baldwin told Access Hollywood. “I lost 30 pounds in four months. It’s amazing.”

It probably also doesn’t hurt that his girlfriend is a yoga instructor. Baldwin, who won a Screen Actor’s Guild Award for outstanding male actor in a TV comedy series, is dating Hilaria Thomas.

"I do Pilates and spin, but I don't do as much yoga as I'd like," the actor admitted. "When we're shooting and I can't work out, I just have to eat less. So I'm very conscious of that. But sugar was the real killer for me -- that was the problem."

Another star who’s recently slimmed down is Moneyball actor Jonah Hill. So how did Jonah do it?

“I just woke up one day, and I was like this,” Skinny Jonah Hill said.

But seriously, folks: “No, I went and saw a nutritionist out here in New York, and I take it seriously," Hill explained. “It’s a good decision.”

And then, of course, there was Jennifer Hudson, who lost a whopping 80 pounds. Hudson revealed that her journey unleashed a bunch of criticism:

"You cannot win with the weight loss because once you lose the weight first they say, 'You can't do it', then when you do it, they say, 'Well, you're gonna gain it back'. Then, when you don't gain it back, then people get madder and then they say, 'They lost too much weight!' You have to do it for yourself. It shouldn't matter what other people say."
