Alec Baldwin No Longer Wants to be New York Mayor, Calls Candidates \"Horny\"
Alec Baldwin has always been eyeing a seat in politics, mostly because he's the only Hollywood celebrity that wears suits with alternating blue and red ties like it's normal (what is this, a republican debate?), but his former dream to become mayor of NY is squashed.

Squashed faster than you can kick a celebrity off a plane for playing "Words With Friends."

Baldwin's hypothetical political run was even endorsed by celebrities. Jennifer Garner said on national television that she would vote for Baldwin if he ever ran for Mayor.

In a radio interview, Baldwin announced, “I doubt it now. The older I get, the more I feel that all of it has changed. Here's the thing…”

And then he describes “the thing.”

“I don't see myself in that crowd,” he admits, saying that mayoral candidates are “horny for their own ascension.”

Too bad Alec Baldwin just described himself. While I love the guy, he's kind of the left-winged Donald Trump, except with real hair, because both guys think it makes sense to become a politician because they are good at talking.

However, Baldwin is happy to stay where he is, acting on NBC's comedy 30 Rock, which he calls “wonderful.”

“Give this up for what?” he says of his life in TV, “I give up money and fame and position and success; I give up this wonderful life I have now in exchange for the chance to really change things? Yeah, I'm not quite sure you can anymore.”

And then he pulled up the “Words With Friends” app on his iphone and began playing the word “Ascension” off someone else's “horny.”
