The Today Show was scheduled to air an interview with the couple this morning to promote their new book, How to Be Famous: Our Guide to Looking the Part, Playing the Press, and Becoming a Tabloid Fixture. But the program has since canceled it.
So did the Today Show just want to save themselves the embarrassment of having Speidi on the show again?
A rep announced today, "Due to a change in the show's schedule, we had to cancel the interview with Spencer and Heidi Pratt.”
One thing is for sure…Al Roker is probably very relieved! He did not appreciate being the one stuck with them the first time they came on the show!
As for Heidi and Spencer, guess they’re going to have to find a new way to get the word out on their book. They should have no problem with, being experts at being famous and all.

Roker asked Heidi if she was “proud of her behavior” on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here, and told Spencer people think he’s a “jerk.”
He even Tweeted about the interview, saying, "Heidi and Spencer are an interesting couple. famous for...being infamous. Bad and vacuous behavior. I think we're at minute 11 of their 15."
Spencer responded by saying they were annoyed Matt Lauer didn’t do the interview, and referred to Al as a “weatherman.”
Heidi said, "I was crying afterwards because I felt personally attacked . . . I'm a young woman and you're coming at me so mean-spirited."
But Speidi must not have been too offended. Either that, or they’re just out for a little more publicity. This Monday November 16th, they’ll appear on the program to talk about their upcoming book How to Be Famous: Our Guide to Looking the Part, Playing the Press, and Becoming a Tabloid Fixture.
It’s been confirmed that Al Roker will conduct the interview. It’s like Heidi and Spencer are setting themselves back up for another disaster! There’s no way he’s going to go easy on them this time! Tune in Monday for the interview.
Spencer went on to make a complete fool of himself, by telling Us Weekly, saying, "People keep on referring to this weatherman like I'm supposed to know who he is. So a shout-out to Weatherman, who I guess got to even hang out with us this morning. Spencer also allegedly said if he hadn’t found Jesus recently, he probably would have socked Al in the face for “talking to his wife like that.”
Heidi added, "I forgive you, you don't even have to ask me, I already forgive you. It's OK. The devil gets into all of us sometimes. You're forgiven. It'll be a sunny day tomorrow, Weatherman!"
We’ll assume they’ve never seen an episode of the Today show then! Well Al Roker had some words of his own this morning. Al defended his actions, saying, “I believe I asked what a lot of people wanted to know. And if he had tried to come across, I would have dumped him like a bag of dirt.”
Looks like we’ve got a pseudo-celebrity fight on our hands! Who’s side are you on?? The “weatherman” Al Roker, or Heidi and Spencer?
