Akon's Trial Delayed

Akon was due in court today to face charges for misdemeanor endangerment and harassment charges steaming from an incident that happened back in December '07.

During a show in NYC some rowdy fan allegedly threw an object at him, and Akon retaliated by literally throwing him into the crowd. No joke!

Akon pleaded not guilty to charges of endangering the welfare of a minor and second-degree harassment. He's due back in court in August and could face one year and 15 days in jail if convicted, which is just about 3 days in celebrity time.
