Akon Gets The Wrong Hump

Rapper Akon might have gotten away with humping actress Tara Reid on stage at Sundance, but his latest hump may get him in some trouble. Last week, Akon showed a 14-year-old in Trinidad what a "smack that" really means, when he dry humped her onstage. If this girl was a virgin, she pretty much lost it at that point.

Earlier, Akon held a contest where he would give a trip away to Africa. He had already held the contest in London and Atlanta, but Trinidad was going to be his favorite. 7 lucky girls were hand picked and brought on stage where they would compete against one another. The winner would than have a dance off with the grandmaster himself.

Noone forced the female to do anything she didnt want to she could have easily said no to anything she wanted to. Furthermore this concert was held at a club and it was specified it was an 18 and over concert. Those clothes are obviously not approved by her parents if they are the ones pressing charges. Therefore she must have snuck out or LIED to her parents or have changed somewhere at a friends house or something. So she was COMPLETELY aware of what was going on. She could have simply refused to dance or to even go on stage. She danced to her liking, wore her clothes to her liking, and dry humped on stage to her liking.

I think that as a pastor and a father he is not dealing with the situation, the way it should be dealt with.Because he is just finding excuses for his daughter's outrageous and disgusting behaviour. I blame the girls parents more than I blame Akon. First off she doesnt NOT look or act 14! I think these so called "Artists" need to stop making videos that portray woman as sluts...with their butts shaking and their breasts flapping all over the place. It is sending out negative signals to our younger generation about how woman should be treated! We need to bring back morals, teach our kids how to treat one another, both guys and girls. These so called "Singers" are making money by demeaning woman in their videos and with their nasty lyrics and unfortunately some parents do not take the time to listen to what their kids are listening to! We need to bring back REAL ARTISTS...that make REAL MUSIC that you can actually dance to...and their videos mean something and tell a story...not someone cussing where half the song is bleeped out so you can't hear half of it on the radio or MTV anyway..and dry humpin a half naked woman!

I think you guys need to realize that thats not the way Caribean people dance, just Jamaicans. You see that hump Akon did is actually a 'dance' in Jamaica. You know like there is the 'brush your shoulders off dance' that is the 'Hard Fock' dance. You heard me right, its not how we caribbean people dance, it's actually a dance that was made up for a song called Hard Fock and another song they dance this too is Tick Tock. The dance consists of imitating having sex with the clothes on. Now Akon came to Trinidad, i didnt go to the concert though, but he came and like he thinks this is Jamaica. That video is making the rounds on mobile phones in Trinidad and Tobago. People are saying he is sick, but he is just imitating the Jamaican dance. Trinis do not dance like dat, a few of us do, those who listen to Dancehall music and like to do the dance. If you don't believe that this a dance, then get the "Dutty Friday" DVD. There is Dutty Friday 1,2 and 3. The men lift the girls up throw them against a wallor car and hump them like if having sex. The women in turn pretend to fight him off, then fans herself between the legs as if to say it's too hot for her.

Akon iz amazing and I love what he's doing with his music, integrating the soca and reggae. Don't boycott his music b/c I think he just didn't know better. Ask yourself this 1. What is a 14 year old doing in the club? ((dunno)) 2. Who's her parents?((they need to be charged for something))? 3. Is this out of character? (no. this is how caribbean/african people dance) 4.
