I will read any headline if it has “Robert Pattinson” and “Adele” in it, so to hear that the two greatest things to come out of the UK in recent years are somehow involved in an argument, I am literally salivating.
Actor Robert Pattinson made a recent appearance on the Canadian talk show “George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight.” Pardon the confusing last name, the George whats-his-name show is like the "Piers Morgan Tonight" of Canada.
During his appearance, Pattinson recalls a moment when he ran into Adele and found himself awkwardly being pulled into an embarrassing argument where he was trying to give her career advice.
“Actually I had this argument with Adele, which is probably the most ridiculous thing I've ever said. I was saying, 'You know, you can really just like reach for it,' and she was like, 'You do realize I am like the biggest-selling female artist ever?'” Pattinson recalls with embarrassment.
“And I just for some reason just decided to get into an argument with her,” says the British actor.
“I woke up the next day really regretting every word I said.”
Adele, if you’re reading this, Robert Pattinson is sorry, please forgive him.
