Oh, hey there, Adele… It’s nice to see you again.
The British songstress and new mom was spotted landing in LAX. And yes… She had her baby with her!
Adele was spotted at the airport, arriving in Los Angeles to attend Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards.
She is nominated in the category of Best Original Song in a motion picture for her dreamy tune “Skyfall,” the featured track on this fall’s James Bond hit of the same title.
The song was also nominated for an Oscar in the same category on Thursday.
This, of course, will be the multi-Grammy winner’s first public appearance since becoming a mother.
Photos of the LAX spotting show Adele toting around her little bundle, whom she shielded from cameras with a white blanket.
Adele and her boyfriend, Simon Konecki, welcomed a child in October. The good news arrived via the singer’s blog with this message:
“I'm delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we're over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx.”
Of course, other than one brief London public spotting later that month, the couple, along with their mysterious spawn, has been as top secret as the contents of General Petraeus’ little black book. After all, we still don’t even know the kid’s name yet. (Though we’re pretty sure it’s a boy…)
What makes this news even more exciting is the fact that next month, Adele will perform “Skyfall” on the Academy Awards stage, so make sure you mark the ceremony on your iCalendars, kids.
The ceremony airs on Sunday 8 E.T./5 P.T. on NBC.
