While you were out enjoying family time last night, some of your favorite artists were getting awards for being awesome at their jobs.

The 2012 Billboard Music Awards took place on Sunday night at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas. The event aired on ABC.

Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Carrie Underwood, and Usher were some of the few names to hit the stage to perform. Brown’s psychedelic glow in the dark colors and flying stunt bikes on his performance “Turn Up the Music” and Katy Perry’s acrobatic “Part of Me” were eye candy for the night. Usher settled for a massively impressive choreographed dance number to his new single “Scream.”

Possibly the most impressive moment was when Jordin Sparks took the stage and made everyone’s jaw drop with her version of “I Will Always Love You” in honor of the late and great Whitney Houston. Sparks costars with Houston in the upcoming summer film Sparkle set in the 1960’s about three sisters who hit it big in Motown.

Don't MISS out on Breaking News!
It looks like Adele found “Someone Like You” and by “you” and I mean her stupid ex boyfriend.

Adele has been dating 36-year-old divorcee Simon Konecki for like two months and Konecki is already planning on proposing.

Doesn’t she think that’s a little fast? Adele, here’s some advice from someone whose never been married: Put on any “Adele” album
What is this, the Super Bowl?

At the 2012 Brit Awards in London on Tuesday, Adele won two big awards: Best British Album and Best British Female Artist.

And judging from her acceptance speech, she was a happy camper. So why exactly did she decide to pull an M.I.A. and give the middle finger on stage?
It’s hard to get better than six Grammys, but Adele won two top honors at the Brit Awards in London on Tuesday.

Adele took home the award for Album of the Year (‘21’) and Best Female Solo Artist. That breakup was the best thing that’s ever happened to Adele. I mean, what do you have to show for your breakups? Personally, the most I’ve ever gotten out of a breakup is a bad ‘I’m so over it’ haircut.

The British songstress beat out the likes of Florence and the Machine, Jessie J, Kate Bush and Laura Marling.

Adele is on top of the world right now, at the height of her popularity and in her prime.

So of course, this means one thing: sex tape rumors!

Adele is suing a French magazine after it published fake photos it claimed came from a sex tape that Adele starred in. ‘Public’ magazine claimed the photos came form footage taken on a smart phone.

The photo on their cover features someone looking slightly like Adele with a couple of fingers in her mouth, the way people hail for cabs, in movies and TV shows at least.
Uh oh...I sense another album...

Adele might be done being a “bitter witch” (she said it, not me), but there is one sore subject in her life: her relationship with her father.

The singer’s dad, Mark Evans, left her and her mom Penny when Adele was just three. In the past ten years, he’s had hardly anything to do with his daughter. Recently, they were trying to make amends, but apparently, he f-cked it up.
No more sitting in a chair and crying over a man for Adele. The singer moved us with her latest album, which was written about a breakup, but Adele says she’s done Taylor Swift-ing her music.

“I am never writing a breakup record again, by the way,” Adele said in Vogue’s March Power Issue. “I’m done with being a bitter witch.”

Awww, but your bitter witchy-ness makes for such great music!
The 54th Annual Grammy Awards have just wrapped up, and you can bet this year's show will go down as one of the most memorable shows in Grammy history.

It started off on a highly somber note, with the news of Whitney Houston's sudden, tragic death on Saturday evening. The show had to be reconstructed to allow for a performance tribute from Jennifer Hudson.

The tribute was a heavy one, and although the tears could be heard in Hudson's voice, she performed a flawless rendition of 'I Will Always Love You.' The singer was met with a massive applause from the crowd. Hudson fanned away her tears.

While Whitney Houston's death is undoubtedly overshadowing the 54th Annual Grammy Awards, the show is still celebrating music's most prominent artists.

Nicki Minaj showed up wearing a Versace costume/outfit that looked like Lady Gaga meets Little Red Riding Hood meets The Flying Nun. Katy Perry chose to match her outfit with her hair color. Rihanna wore a black open-backed Armani dress.
