Adam Levine is getting his hands bloody.
Powerhouse television producer Ryan Murphy has joined the Twitter bandwagon and is leaking details about his shows left and right. The newest installment is a shot from the set of Season 2 of his FX show “American Horror Story,” featuring Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine.
Murphy posted a picture of Levine on set. The musician-turned-actor is shown holding a flashlight up in a spooky tunnel. A coarsely painted mask is painted on the wall next to the rocker with the text “Bloody Face” underneath.
“AHS exclusive: Two of our stars who started shooting today - - the multi-talented @adamlevine and Bloody Face!” the Twitter caption reads.
Levine has since retweeted the message. His character and co-star Jenna Dewan will play “The Lovers” during this season’s run.
Previously, he mentioned his experience on set tweeting, “Shooting A.H.S. It's C.A.F. (Creepy As F**K).”
Taking a break from the haunted house storyline of Season 1, take two of “AHS” will move to the East Coast, based in an asylum housed with the criminally insane. The main storyline of the season will revolve around a nun, played by Jessica Lange, and her boss, James Cromwell, who run the institution.
Murphy has also recently tweeted a picture from the set of “Glee,” which he also created. In that shot, Lea Michele and guest star Kate Hudson were seen arm in arm, beaming at the camera. Hudson will play Lea's character Rachel’s NYADA dance teacher on Season 4 of the series.
In addition to his appearance on “AHS,” Levine will continue with his judging spot on Season 3 of NBC’s “The Voice,” and just released Overexposed, Maroon 5’s fourth studio album, last month.
