Adam Lambert's sexuality, or should we say sexual preference, has been the topic of
American Idol conversations for a few months now.
For the most part Adam has stayed mum on the subject and always gave the same answer when he was asked about it, "I know who I am."
Well apparently Idol judge
Kara DioGuardi knows who Adam is too, because she just outed him on national television.
When asked if Adam was gay, Kara told the ladies of
The View,
"I don't think that Adam was ever in [the closet]," she says in a taped interview airing Friday. "I think he was always openly out."
When asked by
Barbara Walters if Adam was "openly out," Kara said, "I think he was. I mean, from what I've seen ... I do. I never thought he wasn't."
Adam has never confirmed nor denied that he's gay. He's always said "I know who I am" or "I'm an honest guy, and I'm just going to keep on singing."
Whatever the case is, does it really matter? Gay or straight, it makes no difference. The bottom line is he is very talented and has a long career ahead of him. If he did "come out," would you view him any differently?
