Adam Lambert Responds to Clay Aiken's Insulting Comments

Last week Clay Aiken thought it would be a good idea to attack American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert by calling his music and voice, "Contrived, awful, and slightly frightening."

Not surprisingly, Clay got a lot of heat for his comments, so he ended up apologizing for them.

On Thursday night during an episode of Access Hollywood, Adam finally addressed Aiken's comments, and boy did he have a great comment about the situation!

"I don't know Clay," Lambert told Access Thursday. "I'm glad he's getting headlines now though, because he wasn't before."

"If he wants to ride my coattails about it, good for him," Lambert added by giving Aiken a thumbs-up sign.

After we read Clay's comments, we all knew he was just trying to get some press and ride on Adam's coattails. He should stick to trying to make some music rather than get press for attacking others.
