Family Day At Kit Kittredge: An American Girl Movie Premiere

This past weekend was a family affair in Hollywood. Stars such as Will Smith, Rachel Bilson, Lisa Kudrow, Selena Gomez came out with their loved ones for the “Kit Kittredge: An American Girl“ movie premiere.

The 2008 comedy-drama stars Hollywood’s “it” girl Abigail Breslin, Chris O’Donnell, Julia Ormond, Joan Cusack among others.

The inspirational tale is based on the hugely popular American Girl book series. The plot entails Kit Kittredge (Abigail Breslin), who lives in Cincinnati, Ohio during the Great Depression. The resourceful young girl’s bravery, compassion and determination helps her solve a mystery that saves her family’s home during the Great Depression.
