Candy Spelling was a guest on 94.7 WMAS this morning to promote her book Stories From Candyland, and to talk a little trash on the side. Candy pretty much told the radio station that the whole reason she and her daughter are estranged is because of Tori.
She said, “I’ve always tried to work on the relationship. I don’t know what the anger is. My daughter decided one day that she wasn’t speaking to my husband, myself, and my son. And that’s how it’s continued for the last, oh gosh, four or five years.”
But Candy isn’t just upset that she has no relationship with her daughter, or her two grandkids. She actually blames Tori for the death of her husband Aaron Spelling!
Candy went on to say, “It was sad, because that’s what killed my husband actually. He just didn’t want to live after that. He had done everything he could possibly do for his daughter, and then she wanted no part of him once he couldn’t do anything for her.”
That’s no joke. Those are serious fighting words! It’s one thing to disagree with your daughter, or not be on speaking terms, but there’s no way Tori should be held responsible for her father’s death!
That’s pretty hurtful! And knowing Tori, she’s probably writing her own comeback statement to fire back to her mother. This war may never end! Click here to listen to Candy’s radio interview.

It is sad to say that one of the most creative TV producers in history, Aaron Spelling has died. Father of Tori Spelling and the man who created our favorite hit TV shows “Beverly Hills 90210”, “Melrose Place” and “Dynasty” died Friday at his Los Angeles mansion after suffering a stroke on June 18.
Spelling's other hit series included "Love Boat," "Fantasy Island," "Burke's Law," "The Mod Squad," "Starsky and Hutch," "T.J. Hooker," "Matt Houston," "Hart to Hart" and "Hotel." Most recently he produced "7th Heaven" and "Summerland."
During the 1970s and 1980s, Spelling provided series and movies exclusively for ABC and is credited for the network's rise to major status. Jokesters referred to it as "The Aaron Broadcasting Company. "
Spelling had arrived in Hollywood virtually penniless in the early 1950s. By the 1980s, Forbes magazine estimated his wealth at $300 million. Aaron died at age 83 and our prayers go out to his family and friends.
