‘The Dark Knight Rises’ is the third and final Batman film from Christopher Nolan, and we’ve been waiting a long time for its release. He was kind of busy doing ‘Inception,’ so I guess we’ll give him a pass.

Remember that time that Anne Hathaway got engaged? Well, the wedding is still on (sorry, guys), and Anne and her fiancé Adam Shulman celebrated with a fun little engagement party.

Held in a New York City bookstore back in February, Hathaway served her guests vegan food and decorated the place with her favorite flowers--ranunculus and anemones--inside bird-shaped vases.

“Everything was so fun, just like Annie,” a friend tells Us Weekly.
Uhh, pretty sure you don’t, but we’ll let you believe that you do.

Anne Hathaway is basically a model of excellence when it comes to “being a celebrity.” She’s super famous, she doesn’t get in the tabloids for doing stupid stuff, she doesn’t party publicly, she got engaged at a normal age to a normal guy, and she’s never been arrested or photographed eating a penis cake.

So when Anne Hathaway says she has anything in common with Lindsay Lohan, I can only assume she’s referring to
The Dark Knight Rises trailer starts with a monologue from Michael Caine, then a reaction shot from Christian Bale, followed by “from director Christopher Nolan.” You shouldn’t even need to see any more to get on board with this. Yet there is so much more to look forward to.

Bale, along with Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Morgan Freeman, Marion Cotillard and Joseph-Gordon Levitt star in the flick.

The best thing about this is that you have eye candy like Marion Cotillard and Christian Bale, and that’s not even remotely the most exciting aspect of it...

Before Monday, here's what we knew about Adam Shulman.

1. He is a man.

2. He is a very lucky man.

Because on Monday, Anne Hathaway announced her engagement to the 30 year-old actor. And the day before, the pair celebrated their upcoming news by having a romantic date in the park, where Anne showed off her shiny engagement ring. I guess we should've seen it coming, with Hathaway saying in September:

"Adam totally ruined my plan. I was really actually looking forward to a little alone time and then I fall in love like a fool."

After playing more brides and wives in movies than years she’s been alive, Anne Hathaway is finally getting real-life hitched!

The 29 year-old-actress is engaged to her actor boyfriend Adam Shulman. Not much is known about Adam Shulman, but does it really matter, he’s an actor and very soon he’ll be known as “Anne Hathaway’s husband” and that’s the most important part. Also he looks the teeniest bit like Ryan Gosling, which is a plus.

The two have been together for three years, hooking up right after Hathaway’s fallout with ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri who Hathaway broke up with after he pled guilty in October 2008 to defrauding investors millions of dollars, conspiracy, and 14 counts of money laundering. From rebound to engagement, that’s one heck of a story.

Jessica Biel says that Anne Hathaway snatches up all the film roles she wanted.

In an interview with Elle magazine, Biel confesses that her two dream roles were playing catwoman in “The Dark Knight Rises” and she also wanted the role of Fantine in the new movie musical of “Les Miserables.” Both of those roles went to Anne Hathaway, thereby making Hathaway the biggest competition for Biel, according to Biel.

When Biel found out that Christopher Nolan was casting the new Batman flick she jumped at the opportunity to audition. Too bad, Nolan handed the role to Hathaway.
The annual People's Choice Awards nominations have been announced, and leading the pack is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. The flick garnered nominations in the categories of Movie, Action Movie, Ensemble Movie Cast and Book Adaptation. Daniel Radcliffe is nominated for Movie Actor, and Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and Tom Felton are all nominated for the same category: Movie Star Under 25. People love their Harry Potter.

Daniel Radcliffe is up against Hugh Jackman, Johnny Depp, Robert Pattinson and Ryan Reynolds. I'm not sure what it says about our society that a pirate, a wizard and a vampire are nominated for best actor. But it definitely says something.

Radliffe recently admitted he cried about the Harry Potter franchise coming to an end.

"You've got to have a heart of stone to not find part of it - especially Alan Rickman's performance – heartbreaking. I've done my fair share of crying already."

Who can blame her?

Remember way back when Anne Hathaway was that cute girl from the Princess Diaries? Well, if she has it her way, she might be playing royalty again.

Hathaway was asked on the red carpet if she would consider playing Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge. Anne responded: "I haven't really thought about it before but yes, why not. She's great. It's such a fairytale."

A fairytale that cost British taxpayers millions and millions of dollars. But that dress was sooooo beautiful!

Anne is apparently a big fan of the Duchess, saying that she's "utterly charmed" by the romance between Will and Kate. On the subject of Kate's hair, Hathaway said: "Jesus, that is bouncy. All the things that must be done to allow the crown to stay on . . . I can't even imagine."
