Traditional or not, the holidays are all about making memories with the people you love. That, and standing in line at Target for hours buying whatever they have left because you waited till the last minute to go Christmas shopping. Or maybe that’s just me.
Most of us have plans for the holidays and many of us have been anticipating those plans for months. So how are we spending our holidays? Finding out how the stars are spending theirs. Yup, we asked all your favorite celebrities what they’re doing for the holidays, and here’s what we found out.
Rapper 50 Cent might spit some rough rhymes, but when it comes to the holidays, he’s totally traditional. 50 told us: “Man, I just like being at my grandmother’s house when everybody is there. Like everybody just gathering and getting together.”
J.R. Martinez has something to celebrate after his Dancing With the Stars win, and he tells us the holidays are all about being thankful. “The biggest thing about the holidays for me is to be able to be grateful,” he told Hollyscoop. “Sit back and really appreciate the whole year and really captivate everything,” he advises.
Millionairre Matchmaker Patti Stanger has low-key plans for her holidays. “I’m staying home,” Patti tells Hollyscoop. “I’m actually having a dinner party with my friends.” Sounds fun. Hopefully there’s not a two-drink minimum!
Ronnie Ortiz-Magro headed back to the Jersey Shore for the holidays. “I’m actually going back east tomorrow to see the family,” he told Hollyscoop. Have a festively fist-pumping good time, Ron.
Comedian Dane Cook is getting his appetite ready. Cook tells Hollyscoop. “It’s family time I’m probably going to have way too much gravy poured on something.”
David Arquette says that “you always have to have a big Thanksgiving and Christmas” and Billy Bob Thorton tells us “The best way for me has always been with the family.”
And there are a handful of celebs who plan to travel this year. Melissa Joan Hart tell us: “We are going to our house in Lake Tahoe we’re going to have our first Christmas in Tahoe and we always spend New Years there.”
Audrina Patridge may be joining her for a lakeside holiday retreat: “I usually go to the lake house for Thanksgiving,” Audrina tells us.
Nick Cannon says he and his new twins with Mariah Carey, Moroccan and Monroe, are “going to go out of town for Christmas,” adding that they plan to “be in some snow…we’re going to go to our winter wonderland as we normally do.”
Twilight star Kellan Lutz tells us he’s “going to Australia for Thanksgiving and then Arizona with my mom for Christmas.”
And silver screen siren Minnie Driver tells Hollyscoop: “I’m going home to England with my son.”
