50 Cent: America Not Ready for Obama

Everyone from Oprah to Will Smith to Robert DeNiro are backing Democratic hopeful Obama for the 2008 elections but rapper 50 Cent has decided to support his rival Hillary Clinton instead.

50 told MTV that he doesn't think America is ready for an African-American leader so he's going to back Clinton instead, mostly because, "I think they might kill him (Obama)."

Clinton won at home in New York as well as in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Arizona and Arkansas, where she was first lady for more than a decade. She also won the caucuses in American Samoa.

Obama won Connecticut, Georgia, Alabama, Delaware, Utah and his home state of Illinois. He prevailed in caucuses in North Dakota, Minnesota, Kansas, Idaho, Alaska and Colorado. His also had victory in Missouri.

Which candidate is getting your vote for the elections?

he is right! america is not ready for obama because there is a war going on. he is not strong enough to get america out of that war, Clinton on the other hand has enough experience and will handle it like a pro. if you remember when clinton took office it took him about 2 years to get the country back on track because the other bush had fucked up so bad. hillary is ready for it because her husband went through it. its gonna take her some time but she'll do it. VOTE HILLARY!

Seriously, neither of these candidates is qualified. Not to mention, the US isn't ready for a woman or a minority president. It's frustrating that it's even gotten to this point. Did you see that debate? I've never seen such low-class bickering in my life. It looked like a high school debate team presentation. John Edwards was the best candidate the Dems had, and they threw that away for no good reason. I will be voting for the Republican that gets the nomination. I'm pretty moderate, but I tend to lean and vote towards the right. In stark contrast to the Democratic debate, the GOP debate was full of gentility and refinement. I believe that in order to become the leader of the free world, you should at least be able to be respectful and gracious to your opponents. Ms. Clinton and Mr. Obama have showed neither.

I think people should be able to sense the sarcasm in his voice. These people running for office could care less about the hip hop community, but seem to care for their endorsement. 50cent I think see's that cause by the time something negative happens the media spins it and puts a lot of negative energy on the hip hop community.

i think that 50 is right but black people shouldn't be omitted out of politics because we also work hard to build this country.i would like to see a black president for america but now is a very difficult time even for a female president also

Translation: Danielle is a close-minded racist that can only get behind the standard cookie cutter white protestant male.

ok nick.. 'I believe that in order to become the leader of the free world, you should at least be able to be respectful and gracious to your opponents. Ms. Clinton and Mr. Obama have showed neither.' So you going to vote for a republican candidate huh? who have not been both gracious nor respectful to their opponents i mean look at mcain and his mini tantrums!!! ok obama has two things that make him the better candidate. A.intelligence beyond any of the candidates, harvard law school..period. this is without a wealthy background (truly the american dream ey?). president of the harvard law society. and b. moral conviction (took role as community worker rather than bigwig corporate job-hey i wouldv taken the job nd so would u!), common sense in issues that quite frankly are being brushed aside. vote obama if u want to turn a new page and reinstate america as the respected leader of the free world.

Jesus would not vote for a liberal.Jeus was a republican and only a republican president would represent our Lord. This government fights for Jesus against terror, America fights evil and liberal-democrats,are evil. Our Lord would not vote for abominal sexual perberts, free-sex and the destruction of the family. Our Lord would vote for a Republican because only a republican is true American only a republican believes in true family values. And cetrainly the Lord would never allow a woman to be a politician. Never ever in the world history a woman run for office. How America would ridicule itself internationally by having a woman head of state? It never happened and Lord will never allow to happen. A woman is to stand by her man not to become a man

I agree with Terry-George, he is a real American. I believe that after the Clintonic-terror where America became the worst country on earth, our president the hardy-tough-cow boy from Texas like a real man kicked the ass of the terrorists. Why ? because he is republican and republicans are not wussies they are real men. Second he is a Christian and he fought criminal-terrorists. Tough boy "W" created the strongest economy on earth and kicked ass all these Nazi-criminals in Iraq who attacked America.Personally I believe that only Republicans are fit to rule America.America was always the land of Jesus, the only country left where values are still alive. And I agree with Terry-George, women are good for the kitchen not the office.

I agree that Jesus was republican because Judda who betrayed him was evil and liberals are evil. I also agree that is a sin for a woman to be a president. But also believe that only mcCain can keep this country great.Obama or Hil will destroy America and our values.Southern politicians are true Americans

50 is more at risk for getting killed then obama. i mean, seriously. btw, can he even vote? i thought ex-felons lost the right.
Posted by: mimi on 02/20/2008 01:15 PM

50 cent shame on you! If that is your only reason why Obama shouldn't be president then you need to keep your mouth shut. Since you have your GED now (aplause)why don't you take some college courses to broaden your mind so that you can make intelligent remarks as to why someone shouldn't be president. wink. smile.

what's with all the fundies on this site: fyi guys- nobody cares! republicans suck a** and are destroying the world!they are some of the greediest people around! how much more evil can u get??
Posted by: FUNDIES SUCK on 03/07/2008 09:32 PM

I would love to see Obama become president because it would only be fair that a minority could have an opportunity. What 50 cent is saying, I kind of agree with him because this is unfortunately a racists world that we live in and alot of racists people will be upset if Obama did win. I am afraid for him because even if he has security guards he might still be in danger because they might set him up. I will still vote for Obama because I really believe that he will make a great president.

Fuck 50cent he is just to much of a negative person. You should be lucky that somebody from your same race is lucky to have made it this far. Its up to the American people not 50 damn cent
