Mom-to-be Nicole Richie and her baby daddy Joel Madden have been in a really giving mood lately. The couple threw a special Christmas party in LA on Saturday for some underprivileged kids.
The couple, who teamed up with 'Beyond Shelter,' handed out gifts to over 200 kids. They were even dressed as Mr. and Mrs. Santa Clause!
Richie says, "We really wanted to give these kids a really wonderful and special Christmas. It's our favorite holiday." Madden adds, "It's fun for us to be with a bunch of kids who are having a good time. They make you smile. Hopefully for today they're feeling special.
We're just really happy to be a part of the community and celebrating with these kids who haven't been as fortunate as us."
So what did the kids get from Santa? New shoes and teddy bears, and they got to hang out with Nicole and Joel at the Paramount Studios lot.
Nicole has obviously come a long way since her 'Simple Life' days! She's due within the next month so Nicole is officially on 'bump watch.'
