This past week has been a whirlwind of surprises. It was truly amazing seeing all the love and support from our lovely Hollyscoop readers from abroad. As I mentioned earlier, I hosted a special promotional party for Hollyscoop at the hottest spots in Monte Carlo. The highlight of my trip was when I bumped into Bono at the world famous club “Jimmy z”, picture coming soon. In the meantime here is the scoop on Monaco.
It is truly a land of many fantasies, with men in the hottest gear and women in shimmering gowns gliding on the marble sidewalks of Monte Carlo. As you walk through the glamorous streets, you can’t help but notice the extravagant cars that one only sees in James Bond flicks.
From the casinos, to the five star cafes and shopping of the finest luxurious goods, Monte Carlo is a city for the rich and famous. Many times, I did feel out of place, however everyone in the city makes you feel like you’re at home. That’s the secret of Monaco, everyone can feel like a millionaire, even if you are not.
Here are my top places to go in Monaco. Hotel De Paris and the casino which is adjacent, Sass Café and “Stars and Bars”.
Now if you can’t remember all the places I just mentioned, one place you must keep in mind is Jimmy z. This is where you can party like a rock star. This spot attracts the young, the rich and the beautiful. Although the drinks are pretty pricey, the good news about this place is that anyone can walk in. YES there are no velvet ropes, no big bouncers in front of the club and no annoying promoters. Anyone can walk in without being on the guest list or even paying a door fee. Don’t be surprised if you walk in and see Bono dancing in the crowd with the club-goers. If you’re hungry after a long night of partying head out to Tip Top café, which is open until the early hours and has the best pizzas in town.
